Elita One.
Allegiance: Autobot
Function: Female Autobot Commander
"I can deal with Decepticons. Elita One knows no fear."
Profile: Elita One is the leader of a small group of Autobot guerilla warriors on Cybertron. Following the apparent disappearance of Optimus Prime, Elita and her band literally went underground to continue the resistance movement against expanding Decepticon armies. As a female Autobot, she is generally less respected by Decepticons who have not encountered her in battle before, and who see her feminine nature as a sign of weakness. However, this initial impression quickly changes after Elita is encountered in battle. Elita One possesses incredible skill and deceptive strength- traits which make her a deadly surprise in battle. She is highly intelligent, calm, and gifted with an extreme talent for tactical planning. In essence, Elita One is Optimus Prime's direct counterpart among the female Autobot ranks.
Abilities: Elita One's data storage capacity is enormous -comparable to that of Optimus Prime's- and perhaps more efficient due to the advanced maintenance and engineering skills of Alpha Trion. In Autobot mode, she is extremely agile, while also maintaining enough strength to lift over 100,000 lbs. In her Cybertronian tractor mode, she has a maximum speed of 195 mph and a maximum range of 850 miles. She carries a narrow-beam laser pistol capable of hitting a Decepticon between the eyes at over half a mile away. Elita's design also incorporates a last-ditch "failsafe" weapon, enabling her to initiate a "temporal seizure" within a limited sphere of influence. This weapon, however, is a tremendous risk for Elita to use; it can render her incapacitated and nearly energyless.
Weaknesses: Elita's close relationship with Optimus Prime occasionally causes her to act before properly planning ahead, should Optimus be in danger. Additionally, Elita has a tendancy to take excessive personal risks to protect the lives of her soldiers, often avoiding assistance which would otherwise be in her benefit. Her keen tactical ability usually makes up for this shortcoming.
